Drug Offences

The Sentencing Council has published its definitive guideline on drug offences.

This guideline applies to all offenders aged 18 and older who are sentenced on or after 27 February 2012, regardless of the date of the offence.

Burglary

The Sentencing Council has published its definitive guideline on burglary offences.

This guideline applies to all offenders aged 18 and older who are sentenced on or after 16 January 2012, regardless of the date of the offence.

Assault

The Sentencing Council has published its definitive guideline on assault offences, which has been issued in accordance with section 120 (4) of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009.

This guideline on assault applies to all offenders aged 18 and over regardless of the date of their offence and came into effect on 13 June 2011, replacing the Sentencing Guidelines Council's previous guideline on assault.
